Chris Huiskamp

With 19 years of international Finance Management experience Chris spent the last 13 years in the clinical research industry working with several pharmaceutical and biotech companies on their studies in his positions at two different CRO's.
After having studied International Business at the economic faculty of Tilburg University, he started his professional career as Finance Manager at Maersk Ewals Logistics, a high-tech warehouse dedicated to Adidas. After supporting the sale of the company, Chris continued his career at Maersk as Manager Audit and Tax Central Europe area. Early 2006 Chris joined Mitsui OSK Lines as Finance Manager for Region West Europe.
Chris switched to clinical research taking up the position of Finance Director Europe at Medpace, a global CRO, heading their European finance organization. Being involved in day to day operational activities he has gained a good understanding of clinical operations requirements and guidelines, and how to setup and manage the administration to support that. At the end of 2010, Chris changed CRO’s and joined the Assign Group as their CFO, in charge of Finance, Human Resources and IT.
Chris has been deeply involved in all aspects of the clinical research industry, and through his assignments for various clients also in various other stages of the drug development process.
